Strengths:
– Large size and display is good enough for what you pay, speaking from point A to point B quickly and so I naturally turns
– Is it a good choice of features to go wherever you want, so go
– Does gas simulator to see how you when you travel
– I found the British female voice, the best to date, American women sounds like a computer
– Can store a number of addresses, so you can easily just click to go to themto

Weaknesses:
– Hooks, if I put my laptop on the Bluetooth function off the sound after a minute and start again, I must do to recover, at which point it again if I find myself not only as the Bluetooth GPS is talk to me, as it should
– Traffic was not showing when I tried
– Type, always in town if I find something, but there is a file from previous research that I can sift
– Tested in the streetsDowntown SF, and it took several minutes to correct my position (and therefore my side when I wanted)

Overall GPS not very bad, but I like the Bluetooth works, but as the current GPS enough to keep him.

First GPS and nothing too bad to complain about – Busy Bee – Madison, WI USA
I bought it in September 2009 and have not found anything bad about them. The only thing I could complain about is that when I put my car running before the GPS is locked to the current position, he is often confused (hence the 4 stars, it should in fact 4 9 stars:). So now I have learned to expect the receipt of Red Green (who frankly did not take long at all).

Overall, the product is fast, accurate, and text to speech worksgreat. I have version 3.4 inches and does not believe that special needs An inch 4.3. I certainly could with a bit noisy, but given the price I paid for this unit, I would not complain. I never understood that the use of traffic receiver FM, but it may be something that will (on the back of the camera, I can not appear on the screen) to see x minutes late. Overall I'd say it's one of the best, the first GPS you could go with.Certainly, given the excellent price of ships at the time.

Better than my Mercedes – Gregory A. Pistone – Marlton, NJ
I was not looking for a GPS but when my car went into the store and I was left to navigate New York City, Long Island, New Jersey and Northern Ireland on mine I went straight to the opinion of GPS. This was also verified that I may discover that they bought at Amazon for a good price, it would be appropriate that I returned to my car. All I can say is why Mercedes can put a GPS in a $ 100,000 car as good as this. Although I am sure that the accuracy and clarity of the guidelines very similar to many on the GPS market, I was reallyimpressed by two things: the ability to "Favorites" to send directly from Google Maps on the Garmin Nuvi (via USB) and the lifetime of free traffic reports. It saved me once already turning me from a serious backup on the Goethals Bridge to the Holland Tunnel in the late evening Sunday. Great little gadget. Highly recommended.

Garmin Nuvi – Kitchen Lady – Auburn, WA USA
I was pleasantly surprised that this product is all that is advertised to be. Easy to install and use. The only minus that I thought I was OK car charger noted however that was included with the device. I had to return the extra charger.

Run Away. I’m on my third repaired unit! – William Collier –
This is the final product by Garmin never buy. This device works very well the first 20 days I have heard, then the receiver sensitivity all the way to the South … means that it no longer works "hear" the GPS satellites is good enough to win. Called Garmin, waited 40 minutes on ice, and they made me pay SHIPPING to put a new department. OK, so what choice I have (after 14 days, I can not return or exchange it)? I did. Got a new unit is well suited to a week and then boom. The same question. I spend aconstant full power of the GPS signal to virtually nothing. No amount is, or brass material, it will work again. This is definitely a hardware problem. Call Garmin still awaiting their share to nearly an hour, and guess what .. Them back again, and I am awaiting my third unit. Never again. Lousy product, Lousy support.

Garmin nüvi 1200 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator

Posted by admin Comments (0)

The Garmin nüvi is a great GPS. I used a Magellan before and it was better than the nüvi. I bought the Garmin because it is the only GPS that I could find, also had the opportunity in the map of Europe. If I do not need this feature, I'd go with Magellan. Also a side note .. You must purchase a USB cable to connect your GPS connection, and it has saved on your computer. It is so stupid that Garmin does not include this as an auto accessory. Another ouch for your purchases.

TheThe screen is clear and the maps are easy to follow. However, do not be too often: not good in big cities. For some reason, it turns nüvi streets that do not exist. Or, if you turn the proposed tax, because it somehow or another you've been in the wrong direction. It's a problem I had navigation Detroit. But I know the city well enough to move in the wrong direction, given by the GPS.

Points of interest work well in America but in Europe is another story. View Infobelow.

For Europe – I bought the X-Plorer Citi Card for my GPS. One was $ 14.99 for Paris and the French Rivieria is $ 9.99. You can download maps to explore the city as a pedestrian or a car. In addition, the U-Bahn and bus system works. These maps helped us a lot in Paris and navigation as simple as a pedestrian. However, I could not know how to get the votes in the pedestrian mode of work. Do you still find this book. Garmin says it works, but IIt has not been found. Also a reference to the configuration of your device. Here we are in Paris, France, and we have no access cards. There are several reset, you need to do to get the tickets for a different region. Be sure to provide instructions for resetting the new country, or it will not automatically sense where you are.

A reference to the debate. When driving, the GPS indicates the road and it is pronounced) so funny (in English, you may recognize the name of the street by theSpelling on the sign. You need only follow the map.

Now, Monaco, was a different story. The GPS was useless. A feature that makes the GPS, a compass. You can then determine if you are north or south. The whole idea of navigating a city of sharp curves, steep hills and names are familiar features on the nüvi 1200th It does not matter if we're in a car or pedestrian mode. We have used an old map.

The names of sites in EuropeThey are not necessarily targeted by American terminology, or by name on the card you receive from the tourist office. As a silly side, we have Google on the "Grande Arche" in place of the Arch of Triump. Who knows? We felt so stupid in the middle of a Corporate Center with its high ceiling. And you must calculate your position if you are underground, as it loses its signal. But thankfully, the steps are still on the screen, so you can refer to the direction you need to navigate.

Garmin nüvi 1200 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator Overview

nuvi 1200 easily fits in a pocket and won’t stretch your wallet either, thanks to regional mapping and its slim design. This ultra-thin GPS announces streets by name and calculates a more fuel-efficient route with ecoRoute.
